What is your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others)?
I currently work in both academic and practical settings of health psychology and health coaching, often integrating solution-focused techniques into my professional work. As an academic, I am actively engaged in teaching and research relating to health promotion, disease prevention and public health. I am also involved in postgraduate training in the brief intervention skills and motivational interviewing for behaviour change.

As a practicing Chartered Health Psychologist, I also have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team with predominantly clinically obese individuals to assist with weight loss and weight management. I am currently working on a psychologically based intervention package which can be taken into schools to enhance young people's physical activity levels.
