Karlstad Group

The Karlstad Group formed in May 2007 at a meeting in Karlstad, Sweden. The group exists to develop and extend descriptions of Solution-Focused (SF) practice by creating dialogues with other different - but not too different - schools of thought.

Where are you based? (City & Country): Vienna, Austria

In which role(s) do you use SF ideas and tools? (You can pick more than one): Manager, Coach, Consultant

What is your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others)?: As a consultant I work mainly as project manager of IT-projects (SAP) and try to do it in the SF way. As the responsible person of my company for HR management I also influence the company with the SF way of thinking. I'm very happy to be in this network getting a lot of inspiration. I hope I can also give some ideas to the SF network.

Heute habe ich mit Boian aus Bulgarien gesprochen wie wir SF staerker in osteuropa bekannt machen koennen. Er sagte ihr habt in Wien recht viele kollegen aus anderen osteuropaeischen laendern gehabt. Wie habt ihr das damals mit dem sponsorn der teilnahme gehandhabt und was fuer erfahrungen habt ihr gemacht. Es waere schon, wenn wir mal skypen koennen die tage. Liebe gruesse!
