Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
The retreat goes on
Savouring my recollections of the SOL Summer Retreat, one of the phrases that lingers in my mind is Paul Z's: "I could live like this". "Me too!", I thought, "yet, the retreat will be over soon." It was Friday…

As you all can see the title under the potos is not correct. Never the less the pictures give a good impression of the great atmosphere.

Thanks to the group of six!
Dear Eva, Bjorn, Liselotte, Anton, Kati and Jesper,
Thank you all for the fantastic way you organized this retreat. We enjoyed it very much and still have a lot of nice and warm flashbacks. We learned a lot and were also very pleased by the humouris atmosphere.
Overall the high quality of all the participants.
We are sure this will not be the first and only summerretreat. Looking forward to the next meeting.
warm greetings from Hennie and Bert

The most important thing you need to know if your workshop isn’t working. What to do when you are facilitating or training with an SF approach.
Report of group discussion at SOL summer retreat, Switzerland.

The SF principle is, of course, ‘If it doesn’t work, do something different’. OK, but what? In radical moments, it may…

The Solution Focus applications movement – beyond the theory:
Solutions focus (SF) has been around for 30 years, possibly longer. First, in the world of family therapy and more recently in
organizations. Deeply researched it is an approach to help people find ways to

when they are stuck. One of the unique aspects of SF is that the client is in
charge of the change – the changes they want to make.…

Emergent swarm activity in the mountains

I'm seriously impressed with how the Summer Retreat is unfolding. The Group of Six have created such a fabulous platform as our starting point. The setting is unbelievable, the service great, and the 30-ish community members are co-creating an amazing experience.
So what is contributing to this? So many things...
- The care and attention given to creating a space for our being and doing.
- The gentle structure: opening and…

How to expand the reach of SF
How to get stuff out there. Martin Seligman – only talk to the senior people. He succeeds with this, even though one might say that PP has few applications. And many
of those are written for research. Sf is
strong in…

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step… Continue
