Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
Dear All
As some of you might know, we are holding the "3rd Asia Pacific Solution Focused Approach Conference" in Bali, Indonesia on 11 - 12 June 2010, at the Melia Bali and Spa Resort (www.meliabali.com).
Our theme is: Celebrating what's working and we are asking people to come and share their stories of where and how SF is working, as well as learn with Solution Focused practitioners who
work across the spectrum, from organizations, through educational institutions,
therapeutic settings to home. Our intention is to share know-how and find resources
for building resilience, restoring hope and enabling individuals, teams as well
as organisations to make meaning and perform during this time of uncertainty
and turbulence.
Peter Szabo, Harry Korman, Mark McKergow and Jenny Clarke are already engaged in delivering
pre- and post conference workshops as well as plenary sessions. However, most of the conference has been designed around
participation in small interest group discussions, facilitated by experienced
practitioners from Asia.
We are asking for your input into nominating topics of interest, topics for discussion which you believe will be well-received or information which you might be willing to share at our conference! Those already nominated by a number
of people are around Coaching, Education, Trauma and Crisis, the Family: marriage and parenting,
Children and Adolescent
concerns. Other topics which have been raised so far are in the areas of Consulting and OD and Micro-analysis.
If you want to know more, further details (schedule, costs, final list of topics, etc) will be available on the website (www.sf-academy.com) after Chinese New Year, which we celebrate here in Asia this coming long weekend.
Please contact lilian.ithaka@gmail.com for further information or topic nominations.
Gong Xi Fa Cai!

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a compete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step already?… Continue
