The conversations (its spoken and its silent components) are the field where we use our tools & it was a great reminder of the need to keep those tools sharp & functional. May I share, in similar vein, a great quote I came across many months ago from James Hillman: "So not just any talk is conversation; not just any talk raises consciousness. Good conversation has an edge - it opens your eyes to something, quickens your ears. And good conversation reverberates. It keeps on talking in your mind later in the day. Your mind has been moved. That reverberation afterwards is the very raising of consciousness. A conversation turns things around."
Cheers,
Z
