Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
I was very honoured to be asked by Heike Schemmel to host a discussion group on the 'evolution of SF Theory' at the recent EBTA conference in Dresden, October 2011. The invited participants alongside me were Gale Miller, Rayya Ghul and Kirsten Dierolf. Also participating were Michael Durrant, Michael Hjerth, Carey Glass, Jenny Clarke, Bertil Andersson, Wolfgang Gaiswinkler, Klaus Schenck and Aviva Suskin-Holmqvist.
I have had the session transcribed. You can read it by clicking on this link: EBTAtheorytranscripedit.doc

Comment by Tim Theeboom on November 3, 2011 at 12:49 Hi Mark,
My PhD is about the effectiveness of workplace coaching (both employee and executive level). As you might know, research on coaching is still relatively young and has not been not very 'theory rich' up to date. Hopefully, this will change in the near future. Since I just started, I don;t have anything to share yet but i am planning to change that as soon as possible :-)
In addition, I have just started as a SF-coach myself (freelance coaching for Impuls, an organization in the Netherlands), so this will also be very helpfull for my development as a coach.
Cheers,
Tim
Hi Tim,
Thank you - what is your PhD about?
Cheers
Mark

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step… Continue
