I'm curious to know more about 'the power of strange attractors' you refer to, Svea? I think ubuntu has indeed resulted in positive and negative influences in the South African history. As ubuntu refers to a world view / value system…

What is your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others)?: I am a coach and facilitator in the beautiful Winelands area of the Western Cape in South Africa. I heard about the Solution Focused Approach from Belinda Druker during my training as a coach in 2005. Since then, I've been completely hooked! I work mostly in corporate settings and enjoy both one-on-one, team and group coaching. My passion is to partner people in pursuit of unlocking their potential. I also work with the Strengths based approach as published in books by Marcus Buckingham, Donald Clifton and Tom Rath.
