The art of being in between

When I call something complex, what does that mean?Let us assume that me calling something complex is expressing a point of view. Which point of view is that?Perhaps this: "in order for me to understand this (or to feel like I am on top of these things) I would need multiple point of views, most likely more than the ones I am aware of now".Take for instance the way the climate works. I would call it simple if I feel I can somehow oversee the system, by either having a broad image, or by being…See More

Dominik Godat replied to Hannes Couvreur's discussion 'What would a hand drawn map of the solution focused approach look like?'
This reminds me of "creating the own sf coaching model" in Peter Szabo's coaching courses. I don't have a hand-drawn one yet, but an idea of my own coaching model at the moment (see the attached file).

Profile Information

Where are you based? (City & Country)
Ledeberg, Belgium
In which role(s) do you use SF ideas and tools? (You can pick more than one)
Coach, Consultant, Trainer
What is your website (if any)?
http://www.superblyhuman.com
What is your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others)?
I'm fond of how powerful communication and especially powerful listening can enable people to change.

That's why I want to coach / advise / train people in mastering a more solution focused approach to their lives and their challenges.

I used to work as a journalist and a copywriter (mainly in advertising and social marketing) before I discovered solution focused work.

I have a profound interest in how behavioural economics/sciences, non-violent communication, buddhism and mindfulness are related to solution focused work.

At the moment I'm following a 4-year training in solution focused therapy at the Korzybski-institute (Bruges, Belgium).
Motto
"It's not about being superman, it's about being superbly human."

Motto
"The situation is always wise" (thank you Anton Stellamans for getting me there!)
