Hennie, I absolutely LOVE your pictures. Isn't it wonderful to keep discovering new perspectives of the same event...Thank you so much for sharing these new memories

Fantastic Anton, how you found words for what we shared, and so many other retreaters shared. I am reading "the art of possibility (Zander)" - (and really really like this!). He makes the distinction between the "world of measurements", where there…

thanks for sharing a bit about the conversation with George, Liselotte. I agree so much with your conclusion - e.g. "it takes time to be able to 'accept' (be present)" What fascinates me when coaching coaches is the ripple effect - they (us?) first…

Elta, I just read in the book of Benjamin Zander (the art of possibility) that "Being present to the way things are is not the same as accepting things as they are (...) It doesn't mean you should drown out your negative feelings or pretend you like…

What is your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others)?
Hi!
Working as an HRD professional at Ilfaro Belgium I am very keen on using SF in my work and life and I am happy to be part of this wonderful community. Together with Anton Stellamans I work in profit and non for profit organizations and schools and we like to share our experiences in coaching, training and consulting. At this moment, as a result of the last SOL conference in Cologne, we have lots of new ideas and there are also many exciting assignments coming up. This could be a good place to talk about what works and to learn from other SF practitioners around the world!

Strong Summer Retreat Ripple...

BJörn Johansson caused a very strong ripple during the summer retreat. As we were having dinner, he asked me: why does it seem so simple for people to have conversations about what they want to get, how to make business or how to find health and develop themselves, but ra… Continue

Dear Liselotte, thank you for your kind mail and the compliments! I really enjoyed the conference. It was super to see each other again and I loved your cabaret song with Kirsten! There is a lot more to say, but soon I will be in Brussels again and maybe we can have lunch together with Anton. I am very happy with your and Anton's book. I started to read and could not stop. After the conference and other projects it seemed to be written especially for me!!
Hope to see you and Anton soon,
warmly,
Marc

Hi Liselotte, I am so happy that the box exercise was 'useful' to you. Thanks for the positive feedback. Having people such as yourself, with spirit and openness, in the workshop made it a real joy to run.
See you next year!

Thanks Liselotte for your inspiring comments re the Thinking out the box in a box workshop. I was only sorry to have missed your workshop this year, too many difficult choices to make. Lina told me it was excellent. I will watch out for the post of resources.
Good luck with the Ilfaro training.

Until we meet again, enjoy life,
Loraine

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some

You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step already?
