Hi, I have used SF in my facilitation (or team coaching for our continental colleagues :-) ) for around four years. I have had 100% success with it so far and am still learning. I am particularly interested in linking SF with Creative Problem Solving models (what I call Flexible Thinking)... and also selling.

Using SF for Conflict Resolution - Outcome of SFCT call

Background

Members of the SFCT UK and Ireland group discussed dealing with team conflict in an SF way. We referred to an article on this topic as a stimulus for discussion. Despite the low numbers the call enabled a valuable discussion.

Initial thoughts

The consensus was that, the typical SF approach is itself a very good way to deal with conflict. We (those on the call) thought that it is first important to enable people to air their concerns in a controlled way…

Hi John, thanks for your friend request (some days have passed since then as I haven´t been here for longer) - I enjoyed your last gorilla news, as the analogy between sf and your personal hotel night makes it very lively - great stuff! ; )

Hi there. Just a wee reminder of the monthly gathering of SF'ers in London. Specifically at The Rising Sun, 38 Cloth Fair, EC1A 7JQ. Easily Googled.
The next meeting is at 6pm next Tuesday. Maybe see you there?
Best wishes, David

Hi John.

You may (or may not...) know that I run a monthly group for SF'ers in London. So far it's mostly been members of the UKASFP but everyone is of course welcome.

It's held at a pub in Smithfields. To be precise at 6:00 pm next Tuesday 7th October at The Rising Sun, 38 Cloth Fair, London, EC1A 7JQ. Easily Googled.

The next month it'll be on the first Wednesday of the month, the next month the first Tuesday, and so on. But I'll be sending reminders before each gathering.

Really hope you can make it to one or another (or more!) and look forward to meeting you then.

With best wishes, David.
