Hi Liselot and Katalin, Thank you for sharing this. This is exactly what makes me exited about SF. As an approach I have experienced that it makes more of a difference in the communities and people I serve than any other approach I tried in the past…

A Bird's eye view of SF in Malmo

When I first read on the list about the SF summit in Malmo about the future of SF, I immediately wrote to Björn and asked if I could be included. I knew that they could only host 30 guests and therefore it would be a high profile meeting. I was hesitant to ask since I’m a “baby” in the SF world and said so to Björn.

Hi Stanus
Many tx for the welcome to the Solworld network and the passion with which you are working to broaden the SF community in South Africa and to make SOL-SA 1 happen for the country.
Greetings, Madi

Dear Stanus,

I value a lot the conversations we had and I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the Conference so much. I also did, so I see big chances that we will meet again at future ones :)

Dear Stanus, can you write how that beautiful Farewell was you quoted at the end of the conference, this 'travel home safely - because I want to see you again' Please!

Dear Stanus
Thank you for inspiring me! It was such a pleasure to get to know you, feel your presence and learn from your kind and gentle way. You really touched me with your speech at the last plenary - and yes, I hope you travelled home safely - because I want to see you again!

Let's spread the rumour!

Best wishes

Dominik

Dear Stanus
I read your postings on the list and like the humbleness as you’re interested in a dialog with other coaches in your region. I guess having a matrix where you can show your own approach can be useful – and maybe while doing so possibilities occur to let them feel your SF ways, let them experience it?
Having a matrix as a starting point of a dialogue with other approaches – can be a good idea. Yesterday I thought: then they can show you in your matrix where they see themselves --- today a former experience occurred to my mind and I’m not sure anymore.
But at least it was intellectual fun to think how I would draw GROW into the matrix I sent you. Since they have a bigger interest in ‘here and now’ (R=Reality) then SF has, I would put a big DOT at the crossing of the 2 axis (reaching all the 4 fields) and then draw the line towards future solutions.
Even if this might be not useful it reminded me something Harry Korman told us acc. Past-present-future-orientation of SF. I don’t know if he would give it written, but he told, there is a tendency in the development of SF to more questions reg. past and future solutions (and less here and now). He sees this while he’s microanalysing SF conversations.
So thanks again for your question and enjoy the dialogue with your coach-colleagues. Warmly from Switzerland, Kati

Hi Stanus / you mention the book 57 SF activities. I wonder whether you have practiced the speed dating one (page 302) I would like to use it next week and was wondering whether there is anything I should be aware of
your feedback will be appreciated

Jumpstart into Solution Focus

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step already?
